Sherburne County Agricultural Society and County Fair
Where is the fair located?
The county fair grounds are on the west end of Elk River, on Highway 10. Directions and
maps are found here.
Where can I park?
Parking is available on the east side of the fairgrounds. Turn left on Joplin, then left at the
stop sign. Parking lot entrance is on the right. Handicapped parking is available.
People-movers are available upon request at the main gate.
How do I enter exhibits at the fair?
Click on the 'Entry' button at left for Open Class exhibits and parade entries. Click on '4-H' if
you are a 4-H member. Click on 'Vendors' if you would like information on being a vendor or
a commercial exhibitor. Click on 'Demo Derby' or 'Tractor Pull' for information on those
events.
Where is the Lost and Found?
It is located in the Law Enforcement office at the east end of the Fair Office building in the
center of the fair grounds.
Where is the First Aid Station?
It is located in the Law Enforcement office at the east end of the Fair Office building in the
center of the fairgrounds.
Where is the Baby Changing Station?
A small air-conditioned Baby Changing area is located near the south end of the
grandstand. There is no water available at that site.
When is the parade?
The 2008 parade will held the Friday evening of the fair. Line-up begins at 5:30 pm and
steps off at 6:30 pm. For entry form and more information, please click the "Parade" button
at left.
Where are the restrooms?
Portable restrooms are located outside the Grandstand and near the Beer Garden.
Handwashing stations are located near these facilities.
Where can I wash my hands?
Portable handwashing stations are located outside the portable restroom facilities and the
Children's Barnyard and animal barns.
