Volunteers are the heart of the Sherburne County Fair and many are needed to keep the fair
running smoothly. Check back often for a list of volunteer opportunities during the Sherburne
County Fair or events throughout the year.
Prior to the fair, volunteers are needed to:
paint and maintain buildings and grounds,
perform various clerical tasks,
do creative projects,
assist the sponsorship/advertising committees,
and many other tasks - large and small!
Work nights are every Wednesday evening from late May through at least June 30. After July 1,
work nights continue nearly every evening until the fair begins. We work from "after work" until
dark (or until the mosquitoes get too bad!).
During the fair, volunteers are needed to:
staff entrance gates,
help in the fair office,
work in the grandstand pits,
help along the parade route,
help set up exhibits,
and many other tasks - large and small!
